Watsu

Watsu is a form of aquatic therapy that was invented in the late 1980s by Harold Dull, a poet and Shiatsu practitioner who took the philosophy of Shiatsu and brought it to the water. He started to float people in the hot springs at Harbin Hot Springs.

Watsu is the base for all other water therapies. You are floated and held at heart level in warm water while gently being stretched and massaged. The benefits of Watsu go very deep into the soul and can support generational healing.

Many clients say they feel like they are held by the universal mother and feel an ultimate feeling of oneness. They also say they feel that they have healed the mother’s wound and feel like they are back in the womb.
