Surf School

One Love is a learning center that focuses on educating women and children, but welcomes everyone. The instructors are Julie and her two sons, Cedric and Solomon. Julie is an experienced surfer with 20 years of practice and has trained both of her sons, who are now professional surfers and passionate surfers, respectively.

We start with land-based instruction on water safety and beach jump-ups, then we proceed to the water where we assist the student until they can ride the waves.

Everyone has their own pace. Some students can ride the waves on their first attempt, and some need a few lessons. But we guarantee you will experience the joy of being in harmony with the ocean and the feeling of being a passionate surfer.

Cedric McCrackin

Cedric is a professional surfer. He has been surfing since he was in his mama’s belly.

He has obtained his lifeguard certification and his International Surfing Association Surf Instructor Certification Course.

He has received years of professional coaching and has been instructing lessons with his mom since he was a “Grom” (beginner surf competitor), but has now assumed the surf lesson part of the family business because it is his specialty.

In 2019, he was chosen for the Costa Rica National Surf Team and competed in the ISA Junior World Surfing Games in Huntington Beach, California. He was among the top 3 juniors from each country. After the competition, he was ranked as one of the best juniors in the world. He also participated in a major surfing event in El Salvador and reached the quarterfinals, where he was recognized as the 41st-best surfer in the world!

Surfing with Cedric is enjoyable – but you will also feel very secure. He has a lot of patience in his instruction, and you can truly sense his enthusiasm for surfing when he guides you. He offers lessons for all levels of skill.

Solomon McCrackin

Solomon also assists in the lessons and is a very good patient instructor.

For an extra $60, you can have a photo session with his talented brother Solomon, who is a skilled and amazing photographer and surfer as well.

Cedric and Solomon have founded their own school called Zalty BoyZ Surf School. Solomon is the creator of the Zalty BoyZ YouTube channel, and he is very inventive in his video editing. Follow them on YouTube and see how much fun they have surfing and living life.

Payment Options:
Payments can be made via PayPal, Zelle, Wise, Sinpe Móvil, or cash (USD or colones).

For electronic payments, payment is required at the time of booking. Your appointment will be confirmed once payment has been received and verified.
If paying in cash, this can be arranged in advance and confirmed directly.

Cancellation Policy:
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment are non-refundable.
• Missed appointments or same-day cancellations will be charged the full session amount.
