Personal Surf Yoga Retreat

This personal retreat is for solo travelers, couples, families, and small groups who want to learn to surf or already know how to surf and want to improve their surfing skills and rip in the waves. Further, customize your retreat by choosing your own dates.

Daily Yoga is included in the retreat, which will be geared towards stretching the surfing muscles, strengthening the muscles you need for surfing, and incorporating Pranayama, or breathing techniques, that will help you stay calm and relaxed on the water.

You can choose two sessions of bodywork from the following options:

Thai massage, Reiki, Cranial Sacral, Watsu, or Deep Tissue massage.

Watsu is an excellent choice for those who enjoy water-based activities.

Watsu is a sensory experience that evokes feelings of being in the womb. During the session, Julie will support and float you in the water while guiding you through stretches and dance-like movements. She will also massage and work on acupressure points. Many people find Watsu to be a life-changing experience.

Massage and yoga will be given by Julie Hickey at One Love.

Surf lessons and instruction will be provided by Zalty Boys Surf School, owned by Cedric McCrackin. Cedric, a professional surfer born and raised in Puerto Viejo, is certified by the ISA International Surfing Association in open-water surf rescue and instruction.

We also offer rates for families and groups.

Payment Options:
Payments can be made via PayPal, Zelle, Wise, Sinpe Móvil, or cash (USD or colones).

For electronic payments, payment is required at the time of booking. Your appointment will be confirmed once payment has been received and verified.
If paying in cash, this can be arranged in advance and confirmed directly.

Cancellation Policy:
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment are non-refundable.
  • Missed appointments or same-day cancellations will be charged the full session amount.
